College-Preparatory Curriculum

Hill Country Christian School of Austin provides a challenging course of study that meets or exceeds admission requirements at top colleges and universities in the United States and abroad. Students are taught the skills and concepts that will serve as the foundation for future learning through the following:

Four years of English, social studies, math, science, foreign languages and enrichment (fine arts, Bible and classical studies)
Advanced Placement and Honors classes
Junior and Senior thesis capstone presentations
PSAT taken by all 9th-11th graders •Rhetoric classes
Computer Skills

Data from the National Education Longitudinal Study, "Fourth Follow-up" (NELS: 1988/2000) reveals that, "Students who had attended private school in 8th grade were twice as likely as those who had attended public school to have completed a bachelor's or higher degree by their mid-20s (52 versus 26 percent) and far less likely to have had no post-secondary education."
