Alumni Committee creates and coordinates a Hill Country Alumni program that provides mentoring for current high school students and keeps alumni active in the school. We need alums & parents of alums to help: coordinate college visits between Hill Country students and alumni, build an alumni endowment fund, create a mentoring program for current high school students, coordinate alumni events and maintain the alumni database.
Athletics Booster Club supports all Hill Country athletic teams with the following purpose: alleviate the workload of coaches by providing volunteer resources, provide financial assistance for the athletic department, and generate enthusiastic support of athletics. The Athletics Booster club needs parents to: staff concession stands, attend and support school athletic events, and show school spirit!
Upper School Committee's purpose is to enhance and support activities for grades 7 through 12. The committee offers support to teachers, administration, students and families. In addition, we focus on encouraging and equipping parents of our Upper School students.
Lower School Committee, PK through 6th grade has many fun-filled and educational events and we are seeking a number of parents to help facilitate the following: Speech Meet, Spelling Bee, Science Fair, End of Year Party, Knights of Celebration, School of Logic Award Assembly and many other grade level events.
Events Committee has the privilege to organize school-wide events as well as support Admissions events. This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know parents from all grade levels. There are several big and small ways to plug into this committee: PK and Kinder Breakfast, New Parent Orientations, Back to School Dinner, Coats for Kids, Operation Christmas Child, Knights Family Social and Hill Country Fall & Spring Previews.
Voluntary Gift Support Committee's primary goal is to manage and run Hill Country's annual spring fundraising event and drive sponsorship activities for the PTF while working with the Director of Development to support other fundraising activities for the school. We need parent volunteers to help organize and support the annual spring event.
Homeroom Moms are class parents who work in teams to coordinate parent volunteers.
PTF Dads Group and Parent Advocacy Committee plans, coordinates, and supports parent-led retention and recruitment efforts among Hill Country Christian families. This committee assists the Director of Admissions with recruitment/retention, finds ways to engage dads in school activities, and creates/supports other activities that promote retention of current families or recruitment of new families.
Staff Appreciation Committee encourages and refreshes our school staff in creative and fun ways, including monthly appreciation luncheons and adopt-a-staff member.
Healthy Knights Committee serves Hill Country staff, parents and students by facilitating nutrition and wellness education, promoting a healthy school environment, building enthusiasm about nutrient dense foods and exercise, and supporting the creation of life-long healthy habits that honor God in order to encourage individuals to grow healthier and stronger as they serve Jesus Christ.
