“But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” John 3:21

Our journey at Hill Country Christian School began seven years ago when our oldest son started Pre-K. We were excited that he would be in an environment of Christ followers, receiving the news of His great love every single day. What we didn’t know at the time was how deeply loved and cared for he would be by the teachers at Hill Country Christian School. We didn’t know that we, as parents, would become part of a community that would love our family well, welcome our family, and walk with our family in our struggles and our joys. We didn’t know that the friendships created would be lifelong not only for our children, but also for us.

You see, neither of us grew up in a Christian home. Robert would sometimes go to church with friends, and my family would go on Easter and Christmas (most of the time). Both of our teenage and college years were met with hardships, hard choices, and many challenges. Both of us come from broken homes. Both of us have experienced great loss. Yet thankfully during those times, there were so many people who chose to plant seeds of the hope of Jesus that would eventually grow and allow us to become who we are today.

Because of the hope that was shared with us, we now want to share that hope with others. Because of what Christ did for us, our marriage, and our family, we want to share the good news with others! We are ecstatic for the future of Hill Country Christian School. We, the community, have an amazing opportunity as believers and people who believe in Christian education to be part of something much bigger than ourselves. This isn’t just about a building. This is about furthering God’s Kingdom. It’s about sharing the good news with our children, with our neighbors, with our community, with our city, and beyond. We have the opportunity to leave a legacy that will outlive us! The Hill Country Christian School community has changed us, grown us, and encouraged us to fall more in love with Jesus.

We are grateful! Will you BELIEVE with us?

We believe very strongly in the opportunity we have been given through Christ and His community to help create change for generations to come. We pray you will join us in leaving a legacy for our children, our grandchildren, and this community.
