I lived in Houston and the Dallas area before moving to Austin in 2021. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Dallas Baptist University. Prior to joining the faculty at Hill Country in the fall of 2021, I taught in public schools, was a private math tutor, worked as a Petroleum Engineer Technician, and volunteered in the Hill Country Bible Church Special Needs Ministry. We have one son who is a current Hill Country student, Class of 2032.

What is your favorite sport?
I enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, and ultimate frisbee.

What is your favorite hobby or one of your favorite things?
I enjoy traveling with my husband and family.

What is your favorite food?
I love Mexican food with queso.

What is an interesting fact about you?
In college, I attended two different mission trips to China and worked on conversational English with college students. It was an amazing experience serving God and learning about their culture.

Who has had the greatest influence on your life and why?
My dad was one of the greatest influences in my life. He taught me to see God’s beauty in nature. He always put God first in his life and honored God with his time and resources.

What do you love about teaching at Hill Country?
I love this is a place where I can teach math and be open about my faith.
