I grew up in Big Lake, Texas, and moved to Austin in 2006. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Language Teaching from The University of Texas at Austin and my Master of Arts in Sports Administration and Coaching from Concordia University in Irvine. After college, I worked as a teacher’s assistant for emotionally disturbed students in Austin ISD, then started on staff at Hill Country in 2015.

I love to play volleyball, basketball, and tennis.

I love to play pickleball.

My favorite book is Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy by Eric Metaxas

What is an interesting fact about you?
I am in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame for playing in the first-ever Tennis Mixed Doubles State Championship. We placed second.

If you could meet one historical figure or famous person, who would it be and why?
Roger Federer because he is the best tennis player ever to play.

What is your favorite Scripture or quote?
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Who has had the greatest influence on your life and why?
My grandpa because he taught me that no matter what has happened or what will happen, there is always one constant in life, Jesus.

What do you love about teaching at Hill Country?
I truly believe we are making disciples who know and love Jesus with their entire heart, mind, soul, and strength.
