I was born and raised in Austin and earned my Bachelor of Science in Education at The University of Texas at Austin. I have taught in public and private schools (PreK-8th grade) ever since I graduated college, except for the five years I took off to raise my children. I began working at Hill Country in 2011.

I love watching football.

I love going to the gym and running.

I love scuba diving and have purposefully gone diving with sharks.

For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this? Esther 4:14

Who has had the greatest influence on your life and why?
My parents taught me how to be reverent toward God, and that is what I want my students to see in me.

What do you believe makes Hill Country distinct, other than the tight-knit community?
Hill Country is set apart from others because of how much we love our students and their families. We truly care for each one.

What do you love about teaching at Hill Country?
I love the way God’s Word is intentionally integrated into all academic subject areas and interactions with students and parents.
