I’ve lived in various places across the United States, including New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida. I received my degree in social work from Geneva College. I worked at Hill Country in 2008 and have taught in Florida and New Hampshire. I wrote, edited, and planned logistics for Mission of Hope before coming back on staff here in 2017.

My grandfather was the doctor on one of Admiral Byrd’s expeditions to Antarctica.
If you could meet one historical figure or famous person, who would it be and why?
Other than Jesus, Rosa Parks. She had such courage, and I would love to hear her story.

Who has had the greatest influence on your life and why?
My husband. He loves Jesus and daily points me toward Him and challenges me in my walk with Him.
What do you believe makes Hill Country distinct, other than the tight-knit community?
At Hill Country, we teach children from a biblical worldview with a desire to instill a mission mindset in the students so they are ready to serve Jesus.
What do you love about teaching at Hill Country?
Teaching at Hill Country has been a great blessing as we can partner with parents to help students know how deeply Jesus loves them and help them find their place in His plan!
