I started working at Hill Country part-time in 2015 as a coach and came on staff full-time as the Director of Operations in 2021. Before that, I was the Director of Operations with the Hyatt Corporation. I’m currently transitioning to the Director of Advancement role here at Hill Country. My degree is in finance from Miami University.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey

What is an interesting fact about you?
I served in the military as a Naval Submariner.

If you could meet one historical figure or famous person, who would it be and why?
Besides Jesus, I’d like to meet Plato. I’d like to learn what gave him so much insight into human behavior and the reality of God.

What is your favorite quote?
How do you eat an elephant? One piece at a time.

Who has had the greatest influence on your life and why?
My grandmother, Mrs. Annie Godfrey. She was just the strongest person ever, who endured a lot in life but loved Jesus and her family harder than anyone I ever knew.

What do you believe makes Hill Country distinct, other than the tight-knit community?
The MAC – We have the most modern athletic facility of any private school in the Austin area.

What do you love about working at Hill Country?
I love that there is a real sense that the parents and staff buy in to the school’s mission.
