I earned my degree in elementary education from National Lewis University. Before joining the Hill Country staff in 2020, I was a public school teacher, homeschool co-op teacher, and tutor. My husband and I moved to Austin in 2019 from the suburbs of Chicago.

I was a homeschool mom, and for several years I homeschooled three other students along with mine own.
If you could meet one historical figure or famous person, who would it be and why?
It would be fascinating to meet the Apostle Paul, to watch his face and hear his expression as he told of his conversion and the incredible journeys the Lord led him through.

What do you believe makes Hill Country distinct?
Being a private school, Hill Country is able to guide and direct the school through the Board and Exec team’s decision making instead of a politician who is not part of the culture of Hill Country.
What do you love about teaching at Hill Country?
The families at Hill Country desire more than just the status quo; they have pursued an alternative form of education for their children that requires their students to engage in learning. It is exciting to watch many of the students flourish in the classical education environment.
