Meet Your Teachers
Tuesday, August 11 | 8:00 a.m.-Noon | COME & GO
You and your students can visit classrooms, pick up schedules, meet teachers, drop off supplies, and get familiar with new spaces before the first day of school. This will be a come-and-go event for your convenience.
Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. Preschool and Elementary families should enter through the school lobby. Middle and High School families should enter through the Family Entrance.
You may also:
- MS & HS: Pick up your schedule (Handbooks must be signed by both parents.)
- MS: Find your locker
- 9th grade and new 10th-12th students: Pick up your laptops in room 416
- New Families: Pick up your welcome gift and get your questions answered in room 124 (near the front desk)
- Sign in and get familiar with Visitor Aware, our visitor management and student attendance software
- Receive help with FACTS, Canvas, and purchase HillCo gear
- Meet with the school nurse about any medical needs
- Pep Squad & Knight Guard: pick up your new uniforms

6th Grade Bootcamp
Tuesday, August 11 | Noon-1:00 p.m.
A special orientation designed to help students and parents confidently transition into Middle School. Students will meet their teachers and learn about the schedules, classes, code of conduct, and more. Teachers will also give parents counsel for this important transitional year. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend.

Welcome back! We can’t wait to kick off another incredible year at Hill Country with you. Students should arrive according to their schedules, ready for a great first day!

ALL-SCHOOL (Preschool-1st grade will remain in classrooms)
Back-to-School Chapel
Thursday, August 13 | 8:40-9:10 a.m. | Worship Center
Parents are invited to join our 2nd–12th grade students for All-School Chapel. We will worship together and hear the school theme for the year. After drop off, check in with your ID at the Family Entrance or School Lobby to receive a visitor’s badge. Worship Center doors will open at 8:30 a.m.
Preschool–1st grade students will stay in their classrooms for a smooth start to their first day.

PreK & ES Parents’ Open House (Parents Only)
Wednesday, August 19 | 6:00-7:15 p.m | Student Classrooms
This evening is designed for parents. You will learn more about your child’s teacher, what your child will study this year, classroom expectations, and how we can partner together for your child’s success.
Choose the session that works best for your family (sessions are identical):
- Session 1: 6:00-6:30 p.m.
- Session 2: 6:45-7:15 p.m.

MS & HS Parents’ Open House (Parents Only)
Wednesday, August 26 | 5:30-8:00 p.m. | Student Classrooms
Please bring a copy of your student’s schedule (available in FACTS) with you and go to their Block 1 class. Parents will follow their student’s eight-block schedule. This will help you meet teachers, hear what students will learn, and better understand the rhythm of your student’s school day. There will also be information tables available for: Athletic Booster Club, MegaKnytes, DECA, Yearbook, Spirit Store, and Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF).

- 5:30 p.m. – Arrival (Bells ring at 5:45 p.m.)
- 5:45 p.m. – Block 1
- 6:02 p.m. – Block 2
- 6:19 p.m. – Block 3
- 6:36 p.m. – Block 4

- 7:10 p.m. – Block 6

Coffee with Principals & PTF Meeting
Friday, September 4 | 8:00-10:00 a.m. | North Auditorium
Enjoy coffee with the principals (8:00-8:30 a.m.) and join us for the first Parent Teacher Fellowship meeting of the year (8:30-10:00 a.m.).
