Do your students undergo STAAR testing?
No. STAAR tests are mandated for public schools. We do administer standardized tests in grades 2-8 once per year so we may measure our students’ progress and compare their performance to private and public schools across the nation. Our philosophy is that standardized testing should be an assessment of the efficacy of our classroom instruction and curriculum; therefore, we do not review for testing.
