Football

Hill Country Knights high school football is a TAPPS Division 1 state power in six man football. The Knights reached the state semi-finals in 2005 and 2008, the regional finals five other years, and have won multiple district championships. Our offense is famous statewide for its “Hill Country Spread.” The Knights are coached by Varsity Head Coach Philip Hudgens, who has been called, “One of the premiere offensive minds in the state of Texas for six man football.”

Perhaps the most successful team sport at Hill Country in recent years, middle school football is 118-10-2 since 2006 and has won the Central Texas 6-Man Football League championship three times.
