When you enroll at Hill Country Christian School, you don’t just join a school, you join a family.
At Hill Country, students are not lost in a sea of thousands of faces, overlooked or overshadowed. Students and their families are known by name. We offer opportunities for students to discover their gifts and lifelong passions: student government, mission trips, clubs, worship bands, service projects, and more. We strive to develop the entire student, mind, body and spirit, by helping them discover their faith, potential, passion, and purpose.
Hill Country Christian School offers an outstanding educational experience from preschool through high school for children in Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Lakeway, Georgetown, Round Rock, and surrounding areas.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to remember and honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day—the men and women who went to work at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and never returned home; the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other first responders who ran toward danger to save people they had never met; and the passengers and crew of United Flight 93, ordinary Americans whose extraordinary courage helped prevent an even greater tragedy.
We remember those we lost with gratitude and solemn respect. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed. And we honor the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness displayed on one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.

What happens when you step inside a giant camera?📸
Our students experienced the science of light firsthand through an immersive Camera Obscura lesson! They observed real-time images forming through an aperture, experimented with different aperture sizes, and used their observations to connect the physics of light and image formation to the design of their own pinhole cameras.
There’s something powerful about learning when you can experience it for yourself. 🔬💡

Today, our Middle and High School students packed the gym to celebrate our fall athletes and send off our football team ahead of tonight’s home opener!
But amid all the cheers and school spirit, senior football team captain Will A. reminded us what competing as a Hill Country Christian School athlete is really about. He challenged his teammates to let the content of their character reflect Christ to the team on the other side of the line.
That’s what we’re cheering for.
We’re proud of all our fall athletes as they compete with courage, pursue excellence, encourage their teammates, and use their gifts for something greater than themselves.
Tonight, we’ll be cheering loudly for the Knights!

Congratulations to Carley Ann B. for being selected as a 2026 I Am Texas Finalist through The Bryan Museum’s "I Am Texas" contest!
In her heartfelt letter, Carley shared how Lady Bird Johnson inspired her love for flowers, nature, and keeping Texas beautiful. She reflected on visiting the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center with her family and how seeing flowers along the roadside now reminds her to be thankful for the beauty God has created. She also shared a powerful message about embracing differences, standing up for what is right, and using our gifts to make a difference in the lives of others.
Carley’s words beautifully capture what it means to be a Texan, not just by where you live, but by the heart, kindness, hard work, and love you put into making a difference.
