I was born and raised in a small town in southwest Ohio. I received my Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Crown College in Powell, Tennessee, and started working on my Master of Biblical Studies at West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California. I worked as an assistant and youth pastor for 15 years in Ohio before moving to the Austin area at the end of 2018. I started working at Hill Country in 2019.

What is your favorite sport?
Basketball and football. Go, Bucks!

What is your favorite hobby or one of your favorite things?
I enjoy learning new tips and tricks in photography and videography. I also nerd out on languages and words.

Baklava

Elements of Political Economy by Francis Wayland

What is an interesting fact about you?
I had the opportunity to give my salvation testimony in German to a small group of new believers on a mission trip to Austria. It was ausgezeichnet!

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

What do you believe makes Hill Country distinct?
I believe we are unique in our approach to Classical education while also emphasizing STEM. Teachers are very knowledgeable of their subjects and apt to teach.

What do you love about working at Hill Country?
I love working with people who pray for you, care about you personally, and share Scripture with each other in conversation throughout the day. Very blessed to work here.
