Before coming to Hill Country in 2021, I worked for seven years in financial services and then served for 20 years in various corporate finance roles at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Lawyer, because my Dad was one.

What is an interesting fact about you?
I completed a marathon with an injured knee.

If you could meet one historical figure or famous person, who would it be and why?
Abraham Lincoln – he was a great leader who guided our country through very difficult times. I could learn a lot about leadership from him.

What is your favorite Scripture or quote?
I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:12-13

Who has had the greatest influence on your life and why?
My grandfather. His goal in life was to be:
1. The friendliest person he knew,
2. The most positive person he knew, and
3. The most spiritually potent person he could be. I keep trying to follow his lead but often fall short.

What do you believe makes Hill Country distinct, other than the tight-knit community?
A strong community of believers.

What do you love about working at Hill Country?
I love that everyone is aligned to the common goal of furthering the work of God’s Kingdom. This did not exist in any of my prior work environments.
