Personal Background
Eric was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and moved to Washington state at a young age. They married in their senior year and recently celebrated 26 years of marriage. They are blessed with five children:
- Lizzy, a junior at Covenant College, is studying history and biology and considering a medical career.
- Joe, a high school senior, plans to attend Colorado Christian University.
- Zeke, a sophomore, is passionate about drama, music, tennis, mountain biking, and skiing.
- Bekah, a seventh grader, enjoys basketball, track, and skiing.
- Andrew, an enthusiastic fourth grader, enjoys cross-country, basketball, and soccer.
In his free time, Eric enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and skiing with his family—an annual tradition. He also takes on home remodeling projects and is an avid reader.
