I have my Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University (Ohio) and a Master of Education (Curriculum Development and Instruction) from the University of Texas at Austin. I had the privilege of living a variety of places, including Tripoli (Libya), Findlay (Ohio), Tulsa (Oklahoma), Escazu (Costa Rica), Dallas, and Cedar Park. Before coming to Hill Country in 2016, I taught PreK for 12 years and kindergarten for nine. I was also blessed to be an at-home mom for seven years when my children were little. My husband and I have to Alpha Omega graduates, classes of 2018 and 2020.

I had a wonderful teacher in 3rd grade. I knew then I wanted to be a teacher.

What do you believe makes Hill Country distinct?
My husband and I chose Hill Country for our children because of its classical model while also asking them to be critical thinkers, its advanced academics, and small class sizes.
What do you love about teaching at Hill Country?
I love that I can fulfill our school’s promise: That I will know the children in our class, I will love them, and I will help prepare them for the next grade level.
