I have a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Arkansas Tech University. I lived in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Alabama before moving to Austin. Before I started as the assistant principal here for preschool and elementary in 2023, I taught early childhood through 3rd grade, was a reading specialist, a librarian, and a children’s minister. My husband and I have one Hill Country alum, class of 2024, and one Hill Country senior.

What do you believe makes Hill Country distinct?
Hill Country is a special place where you can feel the love of Jesus in our hallways. From the moment you walk in the front doors all the way to the 4th floor His love can be seen through the actions of students, staff, teachers, and parents.

What do you love about working at Hill Country?
One thing I love about working at Hill Country is getting to meet the families we partner with daily. We get to pray over our families, do life with them, and serve them while they are at our school.
