Math & Science Program
We are ambitious.
Mathematics forms the backbone of the middle school and high school math and science programs at Hill Country Christian School. Science, the study of God’s creation, involves the application of mathematics, so that math is a primary skill and science is largely the application of that skill. Math and science courses are staged so that requisite math skills are learned prior to their application in science.
The science program stimulates curiosity using the scientific method to explore God’s creation. All courses include laboratory experiments, teaching students proper experimental methodology and to express results in a professional lab report. Upper level courses include research papers, allowing students to explore an area in greater depth.
